Today we went out again. Mummy and
Daddy took me just about everywhere - both Mummy and Daddy bought new clothes, and they
got me some new overnaps. When we got home the last bit of my umbilical cord fell off! I
feel like I'm moving on to different things in life, like I've seperated from the past. |

Today I get to meet my
other Grandma. I wonder what she'll be like? Mummy and Daddy semi-proudly announced that
I'd just done the record poo as well. I guess I shall have to try harder. Hey, Grandma
seems to be cool, though she says she doesn't like being called that. Have to think of
something else to call her. |

What a cultured day. Mummy and
Grandma took me to the Art Gallery, and the Museum while Daddy stayed home and did some
work on his computer. And Grandma! I've never seen someone do so much washing. I'm having
a hard time keeping up with her! |

Went out in the car that
Grandma hired again today. Gee, kinda fun this going out stuff. There was a parade in town
too, and that woke me up from the sleep I was having on Daddy's chest in the frontpack.
Still lots of over-naps were bought, and that's important. Later on Mummy gave me a bath,
and Daddy took lots of photos. Something about wanting to finish the film so people can
get photos and some can go up here on the web. I dunno, some people. |

Grandma went back home today. She's
off to somewhere far away, called Perth. I dunno where that is, but maybe one day we'll
take my pram and go and see her. She bought a little camera and took lots of photos of me
and her and me and Mummy and Daddy. So that was cool. |

Oh, busy day. I kept Daddy
busy by not falling asleep for five whole hours today. I think he was getting pretty
frustrated in the end. Mummy seems a bit sick, and she slept for sooo long, I thought
she'd never wake up. Then when it came to bath time Mummy and Daddy had a disagreement
about whether the water was "warm" or not. Personally I think it was just a bit
silly, and that I should just never be given one, warm or not. The reason that I look so
shiny in these photos is that Mummy and Daddy add olive oil to my bath to stop my skin
going flakey. |

Paula came around
again today. Sheez, it seems like she's visiting every week. She took off all my clothes
and weighed me again - I'm 9lb 12 oz! She was amazed that I'm so big. We went into town
again, and Mummy and Daddy did some shopping, and then took me to the video store. I
didn't like it there, so I cried until Mummy took me into McDonalds and changed me. Then
we came home and I slept most of the evening, and was really good for them. I even let
Mummy get some study done! |

Mummy
and Daddy think I must be going through a growth spurt, 'cause I'm eating lots, and awake
lots, and being rather difficult. I'm just preparing them for life ahead really. Go
figure. Mummy and Daddy got a bath thermometer from someone, and checked the water
temperature of my bath. Daddy was right! We celebrating by having him bath me, and I
didn't cry at all. |

Today Daddy took me to our old house
to pick up the rest of our stuff, and to show a couple of people around. On the way we
stopped into the office and I met Donna! She seemed pretty nice and she was very excited
to see me. Renee was there too, so I gots lots of attention. After we'd shown the people
the new flat Mummy and Granddad came and took me home, and Daddy went off to a lecture. |

Wow, lots of weird stuff. We went
back to the hospital this morning, but not to the maternity ward, but to the childrens
pavilion where I did lots of sleeping. They stuck lots of wires on me and stuff, and then
got me to sleep while they shoved a thing over my head, and then tilted the bed up. Then
they switched me to my front and did the same thing. Mummy and Daddy said something about
SIDS, whatever that is. I just slept through the whole thing. |

Oh
dear. Tonight was pretty horrible - everything was sort of uncomfortable and I couldn't
sleep in the evening an I woke up quite a lot through the night. Mummy and Daddy were very
frustrated, 'cause Mummy doesn't feel well, and Daddy didn't get much sleep. They said it
might be colic. I tried to look it up, but couldn't find it in any of my baby books. |

Today we went out to lunch with Mya
and Aunty Sandra. She was in town for something-or-other. I didn't catch it because I was
too busy sleeping. She was pretty cool. Apparently tomorrow there's going to be lots of
babies. Wonder if they'll be as cute as me? |

Wow! Babies and babies! Apparently
Mummy and Daddy went to some classes before I was born to learn about me and about the
birth and how to look after me and stuff. And there were some other people there, and they
all got together again today. Most of the other babies didn't have hair, and I was the
biggest, but they were OK I guess. Everyone commented on my red hair, and said I was very
nice. I think Mummy and Daddy were pretty proud. |

Paula
came around again this afternoon. She's a day early this week. She weighed me and I just
about went off the scale! That's 10 lb 2 oz. They also measured my length, and I was 59
and 1/2 cm. That means I've grown 3 and 1/2 cm in 4 weeks. On the baby growth chart that
makes me a very tall baby! |
